I Have a Ring Design in My Head. How Do I Get It Made?
Send a photo. Pick your gemstone. Approve a 3D preview. Then we cast it in gold. That is the whole process — and it usually takes four short conversations from idea to finished ring.
Most people assume custom jewellery means a huge budget. It doesn't. If you can screenshot it, we can build it.
Here is exactly how it works.
Step 1: Collect Your Visual Inspiration
Gather your favourite images in one place first.
- Screenshots are perfect. Instagram, Pinterest, a photo taken through a shop window, or a rough sketch on paper — all of it works.
- Send more than one. Three or four images tell us far more than a single "perfect" photo.
- Say what you like about each one. "I love the thin band in photo A, but I want the deep blue colour from photo B" gives us everything we need to start.
A quick tip: you do not need a professional drawing. A slightly blurry phone screenshot is genuinely enough — we work from these every day.
One honest warning: photos online are lit to flatter, and a gemstone can look twice its real size on screen. That is why the next step matters.
Step 2: Choose Your Loose Gemstone First (The Insider Secret)

This is where we work differently from most shops — and it changes your final result more than anything else.
Most retail shops make you choose the setting first. You see a tray of finished gold rings and pick one. The shop then finds a stone that fits it. Your gemstone choice is limited to whatever fits the space.
We do it the other way round. You choose a 100% natural loose gemstone first, while it is still unmounted.
Why that changes everything:
- You see the whole stone. Top, side, and underneath. Nothing is hidden behind metal.
- You judge the true colour. In daylight, in your own hand, not through a shop's spotlights.
- You see the natural marks inside. Jewellers call these inclusions. Every natural gemstone has them. They are proof it grew in the earth rather than in a laboratory.
- You never pay for a setting you only half like.
The gold is then built around your stone's exact length, width, and depth. A setting made for one specific gemstone grips it more securely and shows more colour than any mass-produced mount.
Step 3: Approve Your 3D Digital Preview (CAD Design)

You will never be surprised by your own ring. Before a single gram of gold is melted, you see it.
What is CAD? It stands for Computer-Aided Design. In plain words, a designer builds a 3D digital model of your exact ring. Think of it as a very accurate photograph of a ring that does not exist yet.
You receive views from the top, the side, and the front. You see the real proportions — how wide the band sits, how high the gemstone rises, and how the prongs (the small metal claws that hold the stone) will look on your finger.
This is your moment to change things. Nothing is permanent yet. Ask for:
- A thinner or wider band
- Fewer or more prongs
- A lower setting, so it sits flatter under sleeves and gloves
- 18K or 22K gold, in yellow, white, or rose
A change at this stage costs nothing but a message. A change after casting means starting again. So take your time — ask for a second or third version. Most customers do, and we expect it.
Step 4: Handcrafting, Casting, and Setting in Dubai

Once you approve the design, the file leaves the computer and becomes a real object.
- The wax mould. Your approved 3D model is turned into an exact copy in wax.
- The casting. The wax is burned away and replaced with molten 18K or 22K gold. This is the moment your ring becomes metal.
- The setting. A master artisan sets your gemstone by hand, closing each prong under magnification so the stone sits tight, level, and safe.
- The finish. The ring is filed, cleaned, and polished to a mirror shine.
All of this happens in our own Dubai workshop. We cut our own gemstones and cast our own gold under one roof, so your piece is never sent out and your stone is never swapped.
