You don’t need any special tools! Just follow these simple steps using paper and a ruler. Anyone can do it at home!
Cut a thin strip of paper. Make it about 10 cm long and 1 cm wide.
Or use a piece of string if you don’t have paper.

Wrap the paper around the finger where you want to wear the ring.
Make sure it’s not too tight or too loose — it should feel just right.

Use a pen or marker to mark the place where the paper ends meet.
Lay the paper flat and use a ruler to measure the length from the start to the mark.
Write down the number in millimeters (mm).
Use this chart to find your ring size based on the mm you measured:
| MM | Ring Size (US) |
|---|---|
| 44 mm | Size 3 |
| 46 mm | Size 3.5 |
| 47 mm | Size 4 |
| 49 mm | Size 5 |
| 51 mm | Size 6 |
| 54 mm | Size 7 |
| 57 mm | Size 8 |
| 60 mm | Size 9 |
| 62 mm | Size 10 |
Do it in the evening — fingers are slightly bigger.
Don’t wrap too tight.
Try measuring 2-3 times for best results.
