About Pearl (Moti)
Pearl is an organic gem that forms inside a mollusc as layers of nacre build up. Natural pearls are scarce, so most pearls today are cultured, in colours from white and cream to gold and black.

- Treatments: Pearls may be natural or cultured, and many cultured pearls are bleached or dyed to even the colour; ask us for the lab report on any pearl to see its origin and treatment.
- Care: Put pearls on last, wipe them with a soft damp cloth after wearing, and keep them away from perfume, cosmetics and ultrasonic cleaners.
